        Schools3 builds schools in West Africa, Honduras and India.

        Schools3 funds the construction of these schools through private donations.

        Skilled laborers along with volunteers from the local villages build the schools, and the Ministry of Education provides and pays for the teachers.

        These are public schools owned by the local community, open to all children at no cost!

      • Holiday Celebration in the Courtyard Carmel Plaza celebrates the holidays with its free community event Friday, December 5th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM following the City of Carmel Tree Lighting Ceremony. The Holiday Open House festivities include complimentary  warm beverages by Carmel Coffee and Cocoa Bar, small bites by Plaza restaurants , live holiday music by Steve Ezzo, Neal Banks and Bill Bosch, children get to visit with Santa (bring your cameras to capture those precious moments) Santa’s elves with balloons for children and holiday gift bags filled with retailers specials. Stores will remain open till 7:00 PM with special gift offers.   Experience the magic of the holidays at the Plaza with NEW festive lights streaming across the courtyard from tops of  buildings to walking between  brilliantly decorated live Christmas trees from our local tree nursery. Give to those in need. Contribute canned goods or make a cash donation to the Food Bank for Monterey County. Food Bank barrel will be located at the Concierge Center in the Plaza throughout the month of December to collect food contributions.
